The EU makes the first anti-dumping sunset review final ruling on China-related grain-oriented silicon and electrical steel
On January 17, 2022, the European Commission issued an announcement on Grain-oriented Flat-rolled Products of Silicon-electrical Steel originating in China, Japan, South Korea, Russia and the United States with a thickness greater than 0.16 mm. The first anti-dumping sunset review was affirmative and final, and it was decided to continue to impose anti-dumping duties on the grain-oriented silicon electric steel of China, Japan, South Korea, Russia and the United States at a minimum price (see Appendix 1 for details), and the CIF (CIF) )

The EU CN (Combined Nomenclature) codes of the products involved are ex 7225 11 00 (TARIC codes are 722511 00 11, 7225 11 00 15 and 722511 00 19) and ex 7226 11 00 (TARIC codes are 722611 00 12, 7226 11 00 14, 722611 00 16, 7226 11 00 92, 722611 00 94 and 7226 11 00 96.) The dumping investigation period in this case is from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020, and the damage analysis period is from January 1, 2017 to dumping The investigation period ends.
On August 14, 2014, in response to the application of the European Iron and Steel Industry Alliance, the European Union initiated an anti-dumping investigation on grain-oriented silicon electrical steel originating in China, Japan, South Korea, Russia and the United States. On October 30, 2015, the EU made a final anti-dumping ruling on grain-oriented silicon electrical steel originating in China, Japan, South Korea, Russia and the United States. On October 30, 2020, the European Commission issued an announcement that, in response to the application submitted by the European Steel Association on July 29, 2020, the oriented silicon originating in China, Japan, South Korea, Russia and the United States will be approved. Diangang started the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation.
