The Eurasian Economic Union extends the validity period of anti-dumping duties on Chinese color-coated sheets
On December 2, 2022, the Eurasian Economic Commission issued Announcement No. 2022/339/AD8R2, in accordance with Order No. 186 of November 29, 2022, on anti-dumping of color-coated sheets (Russian: металлопроката с полимерным покрытием) originating in mainland China The effective period of the tax is extended to September 15, 2023, and the specific tax rates are as follows: Angang Steel Co., Ltd. is 11.87%, Dalian Posco Co., Ltd. is 10.34% %, Shandong Guanzhou Co., Ltd. (Shandong Guanzhou Co., Ltd.) is 6.98%, and other manufacturers in mainland China are 20.20%.
On February 11, 2011, the Eurasian Economic Commission launched an anti-dumping investigation on color-coated sheets originating in mainland China, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Macao Special Administrative Region. On May 24, 2012, the Eurasian Economic Commission formally imposed anti-dumping duties on the products involved in the above-mentioned countries and regions. Among them, the individual tax rate was 8.1% to 12.9%, and the general tax rate was 22.6% (see Resolution No. 49).
On February 28, 2017, the Eurasian Economic Commission launched the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on the products involved in mainland China (see Resolution No. 191). Initiate a sunset review survey. On January 26, 2018, the Eurasian Economic Union made an affirmative final ruling on the anti-dumping sunset review of color-coated sheets in mainland China, maintaining the anti-dumping duties on the products involved in the case unchanged, valid for 5 years, and the measures are valid until January 22, 2023 ( inclusive).
On September 16, 2022, the Eurasian Economic Commission issued an announcement, in accordance with Order No. 9 of the Internal Market Protection Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission on September 13, 2022, to launch the second anti-dumping sunset review investigation on color-coated sheets in mainland China. The products involved are polymer pre-coated cold-rolled steel sheets and cold-rolled galvanized steel sheets with a thickness between 0.2 mm and 2 mm and a width exceeding 50 mm, involving products under tax headings 7210, 7212, and 7225.
