The EU plans to formally begin to levy anti-dumping duties on China Aluminum Sheet, Strip and Foils

The EU plans to formally begin to levy anti-dumping duties on China Aluminum Products

On March 9, 2022, the European Commission consulted European stakeholders on the need for a further extension of the moratorium and collected information on EU market damage.

After analysis and evaluation, the European Commission believes that although there are still uncertainties in the market, the statutory conditions for suspending anti-dumping measures are no longer met, and on May 25, 2022, it announced that it intends to start anti-dumping measures after the 9-month extension expires. China’s decision to levy anti-dumping duties on related products, that is, is planned to resume anti-dumping measures after July 12, 2022.
