Vietnam launches new exporter review investigation on anti-dumping case involving Chinese color coated steel plates
On September 12, 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued Resolution No. 1758/QD-BCT of August 31, 2022. Material Co., Ltd. filed a new exporter review application and decided to initiate a new exporter review investigation into the anti-dumping case of color coated steel sheets (Vietnamese: sản phẩm thép phủ màu) originating in China and South Korea. This case involves Vietnamese tax numbers 7210.70.11, 7210.70.19, 7210.70.91, 7210.70.99, 7212.40.11, 7212.40.12, 7212.40.19, 7212.40.91, 7212.40.92, 7212.40.99, 7226.99.90 Products under .19 and 7226.99.99.
On October 15, 2018, Vietnam launched an anti-dumping investigation on color coated steel sheets originating in China and South Korea. On October 24, 2019, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam made a final affirmative anti-dumping ruling on color coated steel sheets from China and South Korea. On December 18, 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam launched the first interim review investigation of the case.
On April 20, 2021, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam issued Resolution No. 1283/QD-BCT, making the first interim review final ruling on the case, ruling that the anti-dumping duties on the products involved in China are 2.56% to 34.27%, and the products involved in South Korea The anti-dumping duties of 4.95% to 19.25%.
