UK imposes 35% tariff on Russian steel
The British government has decided to impose a 35% tariff on 900 million pounds worth of goods imported from Russia, including vodka, fertilizers, steel, aluminium, copper and other metals, while suspending export financing to Russia and Belarus.
In addition, Britain denied Russia and Belarus access to World Trade Organization (WTO) members’ most-favored-nation tariffs, so the tariffs will no longer apply to hundreds of products from those two countries.
